It's funny that Chinese people apparently want to open up to the world, but whenever you address something in their manners it all comes back to "you don't understand Chinese culture." Seldom is there an effort to try and see themselves the way you see them. Hopefully foreign teachers will continue telling their students what rubs them the wrong way and one day the message will get through. Thanks for your comment.

It’s funny that Chinese people apparently want to open up to the world, but whenever you address something in their manners it all comes back to “you don’t understand Chinese culture.” Seldom is there an effort to try and see themselves the way you see them.

However, a friendly "Hi!
